A USB standard for negotiating higher voltage and current over USB-C, up to 240W.

USB PD allows devices to negotiate the optimal voltage (5V to 48V) and current, enabling a single USB-C charger to power phones, tablets, laptops, and even monitors. PD 3.1 introduced Extended Power Range (EPR) reaching 240W at 48V/5A.
