It can drive triple 4K panels at 144 Hz or a single 8K display at 60 Hz, and tunnels PCIe Gen 4 x4 for external-GPU performance close to an internal slot. Power delivery reaches 240 watts, enough to charge and run a high-wattage laptop over the same link. The 1-meter length reflects an active design that embeds signal-conditioning silicon to hold the full data rate.
