Eine 1 Gbps Ethernet-Verbindung hat 1 Gbps Netzwerk-Bandbreite, aber echte Dateiübertragungsgeschwindigkeiten sind niedriger aufgrund von TCP/IP-Overhead, Festplatten-I/O und Protokoll-Framing.
