Converting a USB-C DisplayPort Alt Mode output to an HDMI signal, this cable connects a USB-C laptop directly to a television or monitor at 4K and 60 Hz with HDR. It integrates the DP-to-HDMI conversion inside the connector, so no separate adapter or dongle is needed. The source port must support DP Alt Mode; ports limited to data and power will not produce video. An 18 Gbps HDMI 2.0 ceiling matches the 4K 60 Hz target.
