CEC habilita reproducción de un toque, espera del sistema y control de volumen a través de dispositivos conectados por HDMI. Los fabricantes lo marcan diferente: Samsung Anynet+, LG SimpLink, Sony Bravia Sync. A veces requiere habilitación en los menús de configuración de ambos dispositivos.
