Hybrid fiber patch cord with an LC connector on one end and an SC connector on the other. Eliminates the need for a separate adapter when linking LC and SC patch panels.
One end terminates in an LC connector and the other in an SC connector, making this hybrid patch cord a direct bridge between panels that use different fiber form factors. It removes the need for a mating adapter or a second cord when linking an LC switch port to an SC patch panel, or the reverse. Both connectors mount to the same fiber, so optical performance matches a same-type cord at up to 100 Gbps. Data-center migrations that mix legacy SC infrastructure with newer LC hardware are its natural setting. Lengths of about 100 meters cover most cross-panel runs. Hybrid cords sell for $6 to $15.
