Wi-Fi 7:マルチリンク動作とその意味

Wi-Fi 7(802.11be)は全帯域を同時使用し、理論速度46 Gbpsと1ms未満の遅延を実現。

## Wi-Fi 7 Key Features

| Feature | Wi-Fi 6E | Wi-Fi 7 |
|---|---|---|
| Max speed | 9.6 Gbps | 46 Gbps |
| Channels | 320 MHz | 320 MHz |
| QAM | 1024-QAM | 4096-QAM |
| MLO | No | Yes |
| Bands | 2.4+5+6 GHz | 2.4+5+6 GHz (simultaneous) |

## Multi-Link Operation (MLO)

The biggest innovation: your device uses **multiple bands simultaneously**. If 5 GHz gets congested, traffic shifts to 6 GHz without disconnecting. This means:
- Near-zero latency jitter (great for gaming, video calls)
- True aggregate bandwidth across bands
- Seamless band steering

## Should You Upgrade?

- **Wait**: If Wi-Fi 6/6E works fine for your needs
- **Upgrade**: If you need the lowest possible latency for VR gaming or have 20+ devices competing for bandwidth
- **New builds**: Definitely wire for Wi-Fi 7 access points
