## UHBR Signaling Modes
DP 2.1 introduces Ultra High Bit Rate modes:
- **UHBR 10**: 40 Gbps (4 lanes × 10 Gbps)
- **UHBR 13.5**: 54 Gbps
- **UHBR 20**: 80 Gbps (4 lanes × 20 Gbps)

## Panel Self-Refresh 2 (PSR2)
DP 2.1 supports Panel Self-Refresh, reducing power by only sending changed pixels. Essential for laptop efficiency and OLED burn-in prevention.
## Adoption Timeline
AMD RDNA 3 GPUs support UHBR 13.5. Full UHBR 20 will arrive with next-gen GPUs. Monitors supporting DP 2.1 started appearing in 2024.
