Um modo de carregamento de baixa corrente usado para completar com segurança uma bateria próxima da capacidade máxima.
Uma vez que uma bateria de lítio atinge cerca de 80%, o carregador muda do modo rápido de corrente constante para um modo lento (tensão constante) para evitar sobrecarga. Por isso os últimos 20% demoram desproporcionalmente. Alguns dispositivos permitem limitar o carregamento a 80% para estender a vida útil da bateria evitando totalmente a carga lenta.
