Conectores Thunderbolt

Thunderbolt connectors, developed by Intel and Apple, combine data, video, and power delivery in a single high-bandwidth connection. Thunderbolt 1 and 2 used Mini DisplayPort form factor, while Thunderbolt 3 and 4 adopted USB-C. Thunderbolt 5, launched in 2024, delivers up to 120 Gbps (80 Gbps bidirectional, with 120 Gbps in bandwidth boost mode), making it the fastest consumer interface for external GPUs, storage arrays, and docking stations.
