A defined range of colors a display can reproduce, such as sRGB, DCI-P3, or BT.2020.
Color space defines which colors are possible, while color depth defines how finely those colors are divided. sRGB covers roughly 35% of visible colors and is the web standard. DCI-P3 covers about 45% and is used for HDR. The cable and connection must support the color space; older HDMI cables may clip wide-gamut content.
