A DisplayPort feature that allows one output to drive multiple independent displays.
MST splits the DisplayPort bandwidth among daisy-chained monitors or a hub, giving each display an independent signal. A single DP 1.4 port can drive two 4K@60Hz monitors or three 1440p monitors through MST. HDMI does not support MST.
