Legacy Data 接口

Legacy data connectors include serial (DB-9/RS-232), parallel (DB-25/Centronics), and FireWire (IEEE 1394) interfaces. Serial ports remain in use for industrial equipment, embedded systems, and network device management. FireWire was once the standard for DV camcorders and external drives before USB 3.0 surpassed its speed. PS/2 connectors for keyboards and mice are still found on some desktop motherboards for BIOS-level input.
Centronics 36-pin
并行电缆打印机端的宽连接器。36个触点，带有线夹用于牢固连接。是PC端DB-25并行端口的打印机端对应接口。
FireWire 400 (4-pin)
不带电源引脚的较小IEEE 1394a连接器。用于笔记本电脑和DV摄像机。需要4转6针电缆连接到有电源的FireWire端口。
FireWire 400 (6-pin)
IEEE 1394a接口，提供400 Mbps传输速率和总线供电。在2000年代广泛用于Mac电脑、DV摄像机和音频接口。6针版本可提供电源供应。
FireWire 800 (9-pin)
IEEE 1394b接口，将FireWire 400的速度提升一倍至800 Mbps。用于Mac Pro塔式机和专业音视频设备。通过转接线可向下兼容400版本。
Parallel Port (DB-25)
25针D-sub接口，用于Centronics并行打印和早期数据传输。在ECP模式下可达2 MB/s。从1981年开始是PC的标准打印端口，直至被USB取代。
PS/2
6针mini-DIN接口，曾是键盘（紫色）和鼠标（绿色）的标准接口。延迟比早期USB更低，深受游戏玩家喜爱。在现代硬件上极为罕见。
SCSI 50-pin
高密度50针接口，用于SCSI存储设备菊花链连接。支持最多7个设备，速度为5-40 MB/s。是SAS和光纤通道出现前的企业存储标准。
Serial (DB-9)
9针RS-232串口，曾用于调制解调器、鼠标和工业设备。仍可在网络设备、UPS和科学仪器上找到，用于控制台访问。
