HDMI Connectors

High-Definition Multimedia Interface connectors carry uncompressed video and audio over a single cable. The family includes full-size Type A (most TVs and monitors), Mini-HDMI Type C (cameras and tablets), and Micro-HDMI Type D (compact devices). HDMI 2.1a supports 48 Gbps bandwidth, enabling 10K resolution, Dynamic HDR, and Variable Refresh Rate — features critical for gaming and professional video production.
HDMI Type-A (Standard)
The most common HDMI connector, found on TVs, monitors, game consoles, and laptops. Supports up to 8K resolution with HDMI 2.1.
HDMI Type-C (Mini)
Smaller HDMI connector used on DSLR cameras, camcorders, and some tablets. Same 19-pin layout as Standard HDMI but more compact.
HDMI Type-D (Micro)
The smallest HDMI connector, roughly the size of a Micro-USB port. Used on action cameras, drones, and ultra-thin devices.
HDMI Type-E (Automotive)
Locking HDMI connector designed for in-vehicle systems. Features a retaining tab to prevent vibration disconnects. Used in car infotainment and rear-seat entertainment.
