HDMI Type-A (Standard)
Der häufigste HDMI-Anschluss, zu finden an Fernsehern, Monitoren, Spielkonsolen und Laptops. Unterstützt bis zu 8K-Auflösung mit HDMI 2.1.
HDMI Type-C (Mini)
Kleinerer HDMI-Anschluss für DSLR-Kameras, Camcorder und einige Tablets verwendet. Gleiche 19-Pin-Anordnung wie Standard-HDMI, aber kompakter.
HDMI Type-D (Micro)
Der kleinste HDMI-Anschluss, etwa so groß wie ein Micro-USB-Anschluss. Verwendet bei Action-Kameras, Drohnen und ultra-dünnen Geräten.
HDMI Type-E (Automotive)
Verriegelnder HDMI-Anschluss für Fahrzeugsysteme entwickelt. Verfügt über Haltelasche zur Verhinderung von Vibrationsabtrennungen. Verwendet in Auto-Infotainment und Rücksitz-Entertainment.
